BROOKFIELD - James R. Patsey, 62, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Patsey was born June 14, 1950, in Sharon, Pa., the son of Joseph and Josephine Kollar Patsey.
He retired as superintendent at Federal Hocking local schools.

Survivors include a son, Sean M. of Brookfield; his mother of Masury; a brother, Larry J. of Masury; a sister, Arlene Evans of Brookfield; and a companion, Jane Eddy of Athens.
Jim was preceded in death by a son, J.J. Patsey.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Madasz Chapel of Lane Family Funeral Homes in Brookfield, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will take place next to his son in Lisbon Cemetery.
