LIBERTY - John R. Shirilla, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at home following a one-month illness.
John was born July 31, 1936, in Youngstown, the son of Steve and Elizabeth Molnar Shirilla.
He retired from General Refractories in Warren and was a member of Greenford Christian Church.

Mr. Shirilla leaves two daughters, Janice L. Zupko of Leominster, Mass., and Julie A. Anderson of Rapid City, S.D.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Marsh and Dorothy Adams, both of Liberty.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth L. "Betty" Rogers Shirilla.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kinnick Funeral Home, Youngstown, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.
