BOARDMAN 57, HOWLAND 37: HOWLAND - The Tigers couldn't keep up with the Spartans offensively in a non-conference showdown on Saturday.
Boardman (8-11) had three players reach double figures, led by Megan Volosin with 16 points. Emily Gibbs had 15 points, and Jenna Kuczek added 11 points.
Gabby Cvengros paced Howland (10-9) with 12 points.
SOUTHEAST 60, GARFIELD 33: GARRETSVILLE - Southeast notched its 13th win of the season in a Portage Trial Conference match-up against Garfield.
Southeast (13-4, 11-1 PTC) was leading by five after the first quarter and increased its lead by outscoring Garfield 18-8 in the second quarter. Southeast led by 15 at the half and never lost the lead.
Shayna White scored 18 points for Southeast, and Rachel Stull added 10 points. Garfield (4-12, 2-10 PTC) was paced by Whitney Miller and Alicia Witte- each scored six points for the G-Men.
CHAMPION 50, MATHEWS 27: CHAMPION - Mackenzie Kiser shined for Champion as the Flashes chalked up their 11th win of the season.
Champion led 26-12 at halftime and was able to maintain the lead for the rest of the ballgame
Kiser tallied a double-double, scoring 28 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Tess Dickerson led Mathews with eight points.
BROOKFIELD 42, WEST MIDDLESEX 35: WEST MIDDLESEX - Brookfield crossed the border into Pennsylvania and earned its seventh win of the season.
Brookfield was down two after the first quarter and used a 13-9 second quarter to take an 18-16 lead at the half-a lead it never lost.
Brookfield's Raeschelle Foster and Tori Thompson each scored 12. Alyson Pierce paced West Middlesex with 10 and Kelsey Murray added eight.
BROOKFIELD 66, LIBERTY 62 (OT): BROOKFIELD - Jeremy Quinlan came up big for Brookfield to help give the Warriors their 12th win of the season.
Jeremy Quinlan hit a game-tying 3-pointer in the fourth quarter to help send the game into overtime. Quinlan scored six of Brookfield's nine points in overtime.
Quinlan posted a double-double, scoring a game-high 23 points and snatching 11 rebounds. Collin Harkulich added 13 and Derrick Dickson netted 12 points for the Warriors. Liberty was led offensively by Darrien Underwood, as he scored 16. John Helms chipped in with 15 and Asim Pleas dropped 14 and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Leopards loss.
McDONALD 60, HUBBARD 43: HUBBARD - McDonald was without Stephen Politano, but Matt Seitz stepped up in his absence.
Seitz led the charge for the Blue Devils scoring 29 points in the victory. Anthony Pugh and Kenny Greaver both added 10 for McDonald.
Hubbard's Jordan Thomson and Adam Hammond each scored 12 points in the loss.
