LORDSTOWN - Walter "Wick" Summerlin Bayus, 69, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at his residence.
He was born May 10, 1943, in Warren, the son of Andrew and Betty Summerlin Bayus.
Formerly, Walter was the owner of Walter Bayus & Sons Construction Company for 40 years. He was presently employed at All American Cab, formerly Miller USA Cab, for 15 years.

He was of the Protestant faith.
He enjoyed motorcycling and remodeling.
Walter is survived by his son, Andrew David of Birmingham, Ala.; daughters, Lisa Dawn (Shawn) Zarconi of Niles, Carrington Nicole Cain of Warren, Heather Lynn (Jeff) Noble of Niles and Amber Rae Bayus of Lordstown; brothers, John (Patty) of Leavittsburg, Michael (Betty) of Champion, Robert of Warren, Roger of Cortland, Donald of Champion and Mark (Shari) of Burghill; sisters, Judy (Russell) Delancey of Leavittsburg, Dorothy Almburg of Champion and Ruth Pinter of Southington; four grandchildren; and very close friends, Carl and Rose Miller of Warren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dennis; a grandson, Dominic Noble; a brother, David; and a sister, Carol Woodstock.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Whetstone Funeral Home, where funeral services will follow at 4 p.m.
The family requests material contributions are made to the HMHP Developmental Foundation, MDRU Unit.
