January 31, 2013
Tribune Chronicle | TribToday.com

The Tribune Chronicle news partner MyValleySports.com has learned that Joe Ignazio will be appointed football coach at Boardman High School.

He spent the past nine years as a member of the Spartan staff. Last season, he coached running backs and defensive tackles. Ignazio is a 1993 Boardman High School graduate, and will be officially introduced at a special board meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Boardman Center Middle School small auditorium.

Ignazio replaces Mark D'Eramo who resigned last December, after two seasons with the Spartans.
