YOUNGSTOWN -- Daro Correa maintained his innocence this morning for the death of 30-year-old Randy Capelli on New Year's Day 2011 as he was sentenced to a minimum of 43 years in prison.
The 22-year-old Correa was convicted just minutes earlier in the courtroom of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge John Durkin.
Capelli's body was found on Shady Run Road. He was shot six times in the head and neck.
