WARREN - Margaret Irene Foertch, 87, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Cortland Health Care Center.
Margaret was born the daughter of Augusta and Hazel Biery Smith on March 12, 1925, at home in Youngstown.
Margaret volunteered for Trumbull County Mobile Meals and belonged to SCOPE. She loved to dance, sit on the front porch with her dogs and enjoy nature.

Her memories will be remembered and mourned by those she leaves behind, three sons Norman R. (Jennie) Foertch of Southington, Thomas L. (Yvonne) Foertch of Warren and James W. "Will" Foertch of Warren, who has been her caregiver for many years; two daughters, Cheryl L. (James) King of Warren and Pamela S. (Alfred) Kennedy of Warren; five grandchildren, Norman "Rick" Foertch, Christopher Foertch, Scott Foertch, Ryan Foertch and Ashley King, who was especially close to her grandmother; a stepgrandson, Wade Wolf; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Timmy Foertch; and her brother, Norman L. Smith.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road N.E., Warren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with her nephew, the Rev. Gary Smith, officiating. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her name to Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, 545 Brunsetter Road S.W., Warren, OH 44481.
