MINERAL RIDGE - Karen Capito, 52, of Mineral Ridge, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at her current residence.
Born Oct. 2, 1960, in Warren, she was the daughter of Guy J. Capito and Doris Lapolla.
Karen worked for Comprehensive Logistics as a line worker. She loved the outdoors. However, her main interest was her family and spending time with them.

Survivors include her mother; her children, Jamie Harper of Mineral Ridge and David Harper of Warren; brothers, Marty (Maureen) Capito of Akron and Tom (Nora) Capito of Niles; sisters, Patty Shelley (David Shaffer) of Niles and Lisa Capito (Bob) of Niles; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and son-in-law, Troy A. Jones.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Heather Peyatt and Cathy Lucariello for all their support and kindness.
