BROOKFIELD - Esther M. Brooks, 78, died at 2 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, in St. Joseph Health Center Select Specialty Unit after an extended illness.
She was born April 10, 1934, in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of Mathew T. and Clara B. Dilley Crawford.
She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna L. Pavlik of Hartford and Gail L. Guerrini of Greenville, Pa.; a grandson; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes F. Brooks; and an aunt and uncle who raised her, Fredrick and Grace Crawford.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory in Hermitage, Pa. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
