Mr. and Mrs. Adam J. Frederick Sr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 19. Adam and the former Beatrice Perry were married on Jan. 19, 1963, by the Rev. David Marstellar.
They are the parents of three children, Christine and Steven Smith of Simpsonville, S.C.; Adam and Nancy Frederick of Niles; and Philip and Stacy Frederick of Cortland. They have 11 grandchildren.
Adam retired from Reactive Metals of Niles after 33 years and Bea retired from Kaufmann's of Niles after 19 years.

Adam and Bea are active in their church, First Baptist Church of Niles and they enjoy gardening, garage sales, flea markets and spending time with their grandchildren.
