The engagement and upcoming marriage of Darla Drummond and Nicholas Darno is being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Drummond of Warren.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Darno of Warren.
Miss Drummond is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and Marymount University with a master's degree in forensic psychology. She is currently attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Ph.D. in criminology.

Mr. Darno is employed by Halliburton Energy Services where he is an operator's assistant.
The couple will be married during a ceremony on Aug. 10, 2013, at Central Christian Church in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.
