AUSTINTOWN - Josephine M. Lombardo, 89, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Briarfield Manor.
She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Rose Altier Vigeon.
Josephine was a member of St. Joseph Church.

Survivors include her three daughters, Jean Tatarka of Davidson, N.C., Karen Purdy of Newton Falls and Joann Hunter of Austintown; a sister, Geraldine Howe of Chicago; a brother, Anthony Vigeon of California; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. A. Lombardo; a son, Ronald Lombardo; five sisters and a brother.
Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.
