GASTONIA, N.C. - Joleesa Denise Hameed, 25, formerly of Warren, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, N.C., from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Friday.
Joleesa was born in Warren, Nov. 28, 1987, the daughter of Hassan and Karen Jones Hameed.
Joleesa was employed with DirecTV in Gastonia, and attended Greater Mount Hebron Baptist Church in Gastonia.

Survivors include her mother, Karen Hameed of Gastonia, N.C.; her father, Hassan Hameed of Columbus; grandparents, Ali F. and Marcelaine Bashir of Warren; grandmother, Leatrice Hameed of Warren; four brothers, Daryl T. McBride of Warren, Joseph L. Coleman of Warren, Henry J. Coleman of Warren and Lawrence Z. Coleman of Columbus; three sisters, Aaliyah T. McBride of Warren, and Debbie L. Coleman-Provitt and Valerie D. Coleman-Bell.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Coleman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the House of Prayer Church, 2016 Wick St. S.E., Warren, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Cremation will follow.
Arrangements are handled by Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.
