Eugene E. Camuso Sr. 1917-2013

LIBERTY - Eugene E. Camuso Sr., formerly of Hubbard, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at St. Lucie Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Fla.

Eugene was born April 21, 1917, in Hubbard, the son of Joseph and Alvena Petten Camuso.

He was a welder for General Fireproofing. He also was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

Eugene was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II in the European Theater.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Blazak of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; his sister, Angeline Tribby of Hubbard; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary "Jenny" Virginia Colligan; his son, Eugene E. Camuso Jr.; a brother; and three sisters.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and prayers at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery, with full military honors provided by Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.

Arrangements were handled by Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
