BURGHILL - Robert L. Madison Jr., 91, of Burghill, died at his home on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013.
He was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Pocahontas County, W.Va., the son of Robert L. Sr. and Jinia Hamner Madison.
He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the Corps of Engineers.
He retired from General Fireproofing as a truck loader, and belonged to the Hartford Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Richards Madison.
There will be a graveside service in May at Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover.
