BROOKLYN - George K. Jeffers, 75, formerly of Champion, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at his daughter's home in Brooklyn.
He was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Champion, and served in the armed forces during peacetime.
Survivors include his children, George Jr., Laurie Hinkle and Emily Medved; three grandchildren; brothers, Larry and Dennis; and a sister, Penelope.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
The funeral service is 7 p.m. Thursday at Busch Funeral Home, Parma. Interment is 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
