Michael and Mary Alice Tvaroch of Niles are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Nikki, to Steve Zvonek, son of John and Jean Zvonek of Clinton Township, Mich.
Ms. Tvaroch is a 1998 graduate of Howland High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Akron, where she obtained a degree in civil engineering. She is employed as a professional geotechnical engineer with CTL Engineering Inc. in Columbus.
Mr. Zvonek graduated from the University of Michigan in 1995 with a degree in business administration. He is employed as a brand manager in the marketing department of White Castle Management Co. in Columbus.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Aug. 17, 2013, at St. Catharine's Church in Columbus. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
