COLEBROOK - William C. Lozner, 88, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born May 5, 1924, in Burghill, the son of Karl and Mary Novak Lozner.
He worked for Republic Steel and was a decorated U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II.

Survivors include his son, William; a daughter, Debbie Manley; a brother, Frank; a sister, Ruby Jones; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Dorothy M. Lozner, and a brother and a sister.
At the family's request, a private committal service of his ashes will be held at a later date. Services handed by the Paine-Guerriero Funeral Home in Orwell.
