Tommy Kimbrough was shot in the chest Thursday while, according to a police report, he was making a drug transaction.
The 18-year-old senior is in stable condition in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
The incident occurred neared the intersection of Midlothian Boulevard and Zedaker Street.
