Milton Dixon of Palmyra Road S.W. said a pit bull bit him in the left thigh on Southwest Boulevard S.W., and an ambulance took him for treatment.
Officers placed a hold on Dixon at the hospital, citing a warrant from Warren Municipal Court that states that he failed to show up in court in October on a disorderly conduct charge and another warrant that states that he still owed $310 for a petty theft and disorderly conduct conviction in 2012.

Youngstown fire crews battle railyard blaze
YOUNGSTOWN - City firefighters responded Tuesday afternoon to a South Side railyard after a railcar full of crushed cars caught fire.
At one point, smoke and flames could be seen from nearby Poland Avenue, according to Tribune Chronicle news partner WYTV 33 News.
Officials said the train was stopped on the tracks just east of the Center Street Bridge while workers were trying to cut away a piece of scrap metal with a torch when the fire started. Workers from the city street department had to be called in to lift the cars out of the railcar so the flames could be extinguished.
Crews were on the scene for more than three hours.
