WARREN - Marian Josephine Shaw, 81, of Warren, entered peacefully into eternal rest at 9:10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren following an extended illness.
Marian was born Oct. 21, 1931, in Washington County, Pa., the daughter of the late Glenn and Josephine McNicholas Yoder, and had resided most of her lifetime in the Warren area.
She was a 1951 graduate of St. Mary's High School and attended college in Ladysmith, Wis.

Marian was employed with General Electric Co.'s Ohio Lamp Plant, retiring after 31 years of service, then she was later the secretary of Local 722 for many years.
She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren and bowled on area leagues for many years.
Marian was married to the late Kenneth Shaw and is survived by a brother, Patrick (Dorothy) Yoder of Fowler; nephews Jeffery (Christine) and Todd (Jodi ) Yoder; and a great-nephew, Daniel Yoder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Michael Yoder.
Private funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren. Officiating will be the Rev. Bernard Schmalzried.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Warren.
