WARREN - James A. Flight, 76, of Warren, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 28, 1936, in Parkman, the son of Clyde and Joan Piper Flight.
Jim retired in 1985 as a machinist at Wean United. He was also an honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and his rank was an MP.

James was a member of the Champion VFW and also enjoyed bowling in his younger years.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mona Cox; his children, Kenneth R. Flight of Clearwater, Fla., John (Karen) Flight of Warren, Jeffrey (Nancy) Flight of Oregon, Mo., and Keith Flight of Warren; his two stepchildren, Terry Cox of Leavittsburg and Tom Cox of Warren; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Other than his parents, James was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Wilma Marleah Davis.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Roger Crites celebrating Jim's life.
Following services, Mr. Flight will be cremated, and his cremated remains will be buried in Brier Hill Cemetery in Novelty.
