EAST LIVERPOOL - Sarah G. Loy, 86, passed away at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at her home on Calcutta Smiths Ferry Road in East Liverpool.
She was born Aug. 23, 1926, in New Cumberland, W.Va., a daughter of Ross and Ethel Brewer Roe.
Sarah was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Deanna Powers of Johnston; sons, Edward, William, James and Thomas A., all of Calcutta; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Roe of East Liverpool.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert C. Loy, two grandchildren and three brothers.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home, East Liverpool, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Burial will take place at Mill Creek Cemetery.
