MINERAL RIDGE - Kathryn E. Kollat, 78, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 17, 1934, in Turtle Creek, Pa., the daughter of Victor and Florence Fulton Edmundson.
Kathryn was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three children, Kathy Bell of Mantua, Elizabeth Cosgrove of Mineral Ridge and Vicki Kowacich of McDonald; a sister, Elizabeth McGeary of Austintown; a grandson; and six great-grandchildren.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kollat, and two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Mineral Ridge Chapel, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at New Hope United Methodist Church in Niles. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
