AKRON - Emanuel "Manny" Magilavy, 93, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.
He was born Dec. 17, 1919, in Akron, the son of Daniel and Belle Magilavy.
He was a B-17 pilot in World War II and retired from Mardan Dry Cleaners.
He is survived by his wife, Billie; a daughter, Lynda Slikkerveer; two sons, Chuck and Marc; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dave and Maury.
Manny was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Seyer, a sister and a brother.
Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
Arrangements were handled by Best Funeral Home in Middlefield.
