CORTLAND - William "Bill" S. Dick Jr., 70, passed away at 5:06 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at his home.
Bill was born Feb. 20, 1942, in Warren, the son of the late William S. Sr. and Ella Les Dick, and was a 1959 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
Bill worked for 30 years for American Welding as a tow motor operator.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
An avid Cleveland Browns fan, Bill enjoyed NASCAR and was a die-hard Dale Earnhart Sr. fan.
Bill will be sadly missed by two children, Kim (Mark) Hodgkiss of Johnston and David (Misty) Dick of Fowler; three grandsons, Tad, Tyler and Dakota; and seven granddaughters, Charissa, Michelle, Tiffany, Emily, Gabby, Olivia and Kailey. Bill is also survived by his twin sister, Bonnie L. Lewis of Warren; and a sister, Sandra J. (Melvin) Newsome of Cuyahoga Falls.
In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no calling hours and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
A caring cremation was held under the direction of the Roberts-Clark Chapel, a Lane Family Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Bill's name to Angels for Animals in Canfield.
