BRUNSWICK - Dora Emojean "Jean" Pedlar, 70, died at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.
Dora was born Jan. 18, 1942, in Canton, the daughter of Russell E. and Melva A. Smith Dean-Meredith.
She worked for Dollar General and was a member of Springfield Church of God.

Survivors include a son, Steven Douglas of Flint, Mich.; four daughters, Kimberly Ann Higgins, Terry Higgins, Sandra Higgins, all of Flint, Mich., and Katrina Sherlock of Missoula, Mont.; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Beverly Ann Swogger of Medina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Pedlar.
A time of gathering to honor her life will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Briceland Funeral Service, LLC in Brookfield. Her celebration continues at 1 p.m. with a funeral service. She will be laid to rest in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
