HUNTSBURG - Jeanette I. Swontek, 89, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Burton Health Care.
She was born July 3, 1923, in Euclid, the daughter of Park and Yulah Smith Thurling.
Jeanette was a secretary at Geauga Industries.
Survivors include her children, Joyce Blair of Burton, Judy Joles of Fairport and Gary of Huntsburg; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Park Thurling Jr. of Huntsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley A. Swontek; a grandson; and a sister.
A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday at Huntsburg Congregational Church in Huntsburg, where family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
