HOWLAND - Marcella Tsamparlis, 80, of Warren, died at 3:55 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
She was born June 10, 1932, in Chios, Greece, the daughter of James J. Mavrogianis and Helen Halkias.
Marcella came to Warren in 1947 and presently was the owner and operator of Marcella's Formal and Bridal Boutique for the last 29 years.

She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and growing flowers.
Her husband, Michael H. Tsamparlis, whom she married Aug. 24, 1947, died Dec. 11, 2006.
She leaves two children, James M. (Maggi) Tsamparlis of Lordstown and Babette (Dr. Rajesh) Baji of Girard; grandson, Matthew Baji; foster grandson, Burkley Betz; a brother, John (Argero) Mavrogianis of Warren; a sister, Mary (Chris) Kreatsoulas of Warren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband and two brothers, Nick and Steve J. Mavrogianis, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a Trisagion service at 6 p.m., and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, with the Rev. Constantine Valantasis officiating.
Entombment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
