WARREN - Eva G. Hoover, 92, formerly of Markleton, Pa., died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Howland.
She was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, Pa., the daughter of Alexander and Mattie Jane Younkin Ohler.
Eva was a member of Kingwood Church of God in Kingwood, Pa.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Tim) Foreman of Confluence, Pa.; a son, Allen (Holly) Hoover of Warren; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sarah (Frank) Singo of Markleton; and a brother, Elmer Ohler of Rockwood, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loyal Ray; sons, Robert R. and David C.; sisters, Elsie Kreger, Alice Porterfield and Mildred Ohler; and brothers, Charles and Harold Ohler.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. The hour of service will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Kingwood Church of God with the Rev. James Monticue and the Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment will be in Old Bethel Cemetery in Markleton, Pa.
