BOARDMAN - Don Phillipe Corpier, 64, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Emergency Room in Youngstown from an apparent heart attack.
Don was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Shreveport, La.
Don graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in business management. He served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam. Don was employed at Delphi Packard in logistics for 33 years, retiring in 2006. He was an avid stamp collector and loved animals and artifacts.
Don leaves his mother, Atha Lee Dunnam of Boardman; his former wife, Debora (Robert) Macomber of Canfield; his daughter, Kendra Danielle Corpier of Mesa, Ariz.; and his son, Zacharie L. Corpier of Mesa, Ariz.
Don was preceded in death by his stepfather, James Dunnam, who raised him.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel. Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Angels for Animals in Don's memory.
