BENEFIT WALK TO HELP SHOOTING VICTIMS: Walk 27 is a fundraising event aimed to help the families affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. All proceeds collected at the event will be sent directly to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund at Newtown Savings Bank. The walk will begin at 9:30 a. m. Friday at Howland Township Park, starting at Tiger Town. The walk will take approximately a half hour, followed by a balloon release.
