NILES - Ruth Ann Green, 65, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren following an extended illness.
She was born June 4, 1947, in Elliott County, Ky., the daughter of William and Agnes Johnson Cline, and moved to Niles in 1948.
Ruth Ann was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and traveling.
She attended Apostolic Pentecostal Church on DeForest Road in Warren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Green, whom she married July 13, 1968; two sons, Jeffrey Green of Warren and Steven Green of Niles; a brother, Thomas (Sandy) Cline of Mineral Ridge; and a sister, Evelyn (William) Bouts of Niles.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Georgia Carpenter, Pauline Humphrey and Alice Faye Campbell.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, where family and friends may also call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Douglas Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
