WARREN -- The police department promoted two officers this morning in a ceremony at City Hall.
Jeff Cole was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant and he will be the officer in the department's detective bureau. He replaces Lt. Gary Vingle, who is retiring after 37 years in law enforcement.
Also promoted was Joe Kistler, from patrolman to sergeant. Kistler is a school resource officer at Warren G. Harding High School.
