December 17, 2012
Tribune Chronicle |

WARREN -- BP America said it would announce this afternoon what its plans are to develop its oil and gas business in the Utica/Point Pleasant Shale formation.

Earlier this year BP America purchased hundreds of millions of dollars worth of mineral rights in Trumbull County and opened an office in the Chase Tower in downtown Warren.

At 1:30 p.m., Curtis Thomas, director of government and public affairs for BP in Ohio, and Joe Uppercue, BP's Ohio operations manager, will discuss its proposed drilling activity and the selection of a base for its Utica/Point Pleasant operations.
