WARREN - Catherine J. "Tootsie" Camarata, 85, died 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born June 8, 1927, in Warren, the daughter of Peter J. and Victoria M. Camarata Sr.
Catherine was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and retired in 1985 as a physician's assistant after 43 years with Dr. Charles A. Anderson, a urologist.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church and enjoyed reading and classic movies - being a special fan of Clark Gable and "Gone with the Wind," politics and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her brothers, Peter (Betty) Camarata Jr. of Warren and Andre C. (Loretta) Camarata of Naples, Fla.; a sister, Marjorie E. Camarata; aunts Antionette Brutz and Connie Myers; nieces and nephews Thomas (Brenda) Mango, Victoria Mango, Catherine (Thomas) Leenheer, Peter J. (Debbie) Camarata, Thomas Dean VanCure, Sandi VanCure, Paula (James) McFarland and Chris (Debbie) VanCure; and numerous great- nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Leona Mango and Frances VanCure; and an infant brother, Stefano Camarata.
Private services were held Friday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road N.E., Warren, OH 44483.
