WARREN - It took a jury about 90 minutes today to find a Transylvania Street S.E. woman guilty of murdering her 15-month-old daughter last September.
Jurors in the courtroom of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge W. Wyatt McKay found 29-year-old Joy Lee Hodge guilty of murder, child endangering with a specification that makes it a felony, and felonious assault.
She will be sentenced by McKay following a presentence investigation.
Investigators said the baby was killed by blunt force injuries to her head, face and neck as well as a lacerated liver. Jury selection in the case began Monday.
