CORTLAND - It was a banner night for Allie Pavlik as she set a new school record for points scored in a game in the Bulldogs' 93-23 defeat of Campbell on Thursday night.
The junior shot 19-of-36 from the floor en route to her career-high 47 points. She broke the record set by Allie Gagne in 2011, which was 46 points.
As a team, Lakeview was 40-of-86 shooting and 14 of 18 from the line to improve to 4-3 (1-0 All-American Conference, National Division). The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday against Jefferson.
Campbell, which fell to 0-5 (0-1) was led by Brittany Williams with 16 points.
BRISTOL 68, BADGER 44: KINSMAN - Paced by Kylie Stoneman and Laurin Elza, the Panthers stayed perfect on the season with a win over Badger.
Bristol led by seven after the first quarter, but came out with a 21-5 second to take control of the game.
Both Stoneman and Elza had 18 points for Bristol, which improved to 6-0 on the season. The Panthers will take on Lordstown on Monday night in a battle of the unbeatens.
Badger, which fell to 1-5, was led by Taylor Kramer's 15 points. Brandi Nitch added 13.
JACKSON-MILTON 54, LISBON 54: LISBON - It was a close game throughout, but in the end the Blue Jays picked up the Inter Tri-County League, Upper Tier, win over Lisbon.
Jackson-Milton led by one after the first quarter, but pulled the lead to 26-22 at half.
Madison Tomaino led the Blue Jays with 15 points and five assists. Paije Kiraly had 12 points and three blocks as Jackson-Milton improved to 4-2 (1-2).
HOWLAND 78, BEAVER LOCAL 19: LISBON - The Tigers jumped to a 21-6 lead and never looked back in this AAC, American Division, matchup.
It was all Howland during the night. The Tigers had the 41-12 lead at half, then outscored the Beavers 26-1 in the third.
Having a big night for the Tigers was Trisha Ginnis with 13 points, seven assists and six steals. Gabby Cvengros led all scorers with 25 points to help Howland improve to 4-1 (1-0).
CHAMPION 61, LIBERTY 31: CHAMPION - The Golden Flashes used a big second half and double-digit performances from Mackenzie Kiser and Darian Rogers to get the AAC, National Division, win over Liberty.
Champion outscored the Leopards 34-8 in the second half. Rogers scored eight of her 18 in the third quarter, while Kiser had eight of her game-high 19 in the fourth.
The Golden Flashes improved to 3-3 on the season, 1-0 in the conference.
Liberty, which was paced by Leah Leshnack's 11 points, fell to 2-5 (0-1).
BROOKFIELD 55, MAPLEWOOD 18: BROOKFIELD - Ashley Kirila recorded a double-double and the Warriors got to an early lead and held on over Maplewood.
Kirila had 12 points and 14 rebounds for Brookfield (3-1). Tori Thompson led Brookfield with 14 points.
The Rockets only had three players score in the loss. Allison Bell led all scorers with 17 points, nine from 3-point range.
MATHEWS 68, SOUTHINGTON 44: VIENNA - Four players scored in double figures to lift the Mustangs past Southington in a Northeastern Athletic Conference victory.
Mathews (3-3, 2-2) went up 43-27 by halftime. Dayna Ellis scored all of her game-high 14 points in the first half. Jacki Rhine was right behind Ellis with 13 points. She also grabbed a team-best 11 rebounds. Maddie Williams contributed 12 and Tess Dickerson added 10. Dana Omerzo added nine points and 10 assists.
Shelby Cameron paced Southington (0-6) with 11 points. Rachel Wilson provided 10.
PV 68, LEDGEMONT 37: ANDOVER - Heather Brant reached a career high with 25 points as Pymatuning Valley rolled past Ledgemont in a Northeastern Athletic Division matchup.
Brant, who was 9 of 10 from the free-throw line, also grabbed 11 rebounds, five steals and dished out five assists. Kelsea Brown also had a big game, with 20 points, and Megan Stech added 12. Michealia Skleres added 11. Brant scored 15 in the first half, and Brown and Stech each registered 10 to help PV (4-2, 2-2) take a 38-22 lead.
Olivia Sidley of Ledgemont (3-3, 2-2) paced the Redskins with 11 points. Carissa Cantrell recorded 10.
AUSTINTOWN FITCH 58, HUBBARD 26: HUBBARD - Ten Falcons scored in Austintown Fitch's All-American Conference, American Division rout of Hubbard.
Megan Sefcik registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. She also grabbed three steals. Cassie Custer paced all scorers with 14 points. She also had nine rebounds. Sarah Melfi added 10 points for the Falcons (6-0).
Julia Clemente led Hubbard (2-5) with five points.
POLAND 43, NILES 18: POLAND - Poland's defense dominated an All-American Conference, American Division clash with the Red Dragons.
The Bulldogs didn't allow more than six points in any quarter and led 18-8 at halftime. They put the game out of reach with a 16-4 run in the third quarter. Aleah Hughes led a balanced Poland offense with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Three players (Katrina Harris, Braley Hale and Makayla Butler) scored four points to lead Niles.
NEWTON FALLS 53, GIRARD 35: GIRARD - Newton Falls owned the third quarter of this All-American Conference, National Division showdown.
The Tigers outscored Girard, 11-2, to extend what was a five-point lead to a 14-point margin. Brooke Barreca led a balanced Newton Falls offense with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Hannah Zelle provided 10 points.
Alasija Dykes recorded a game-high 15 points.
