YSU Improv group plays Oakland
I.C.U. Improv, the Youngstown State University theater department's improv troupe, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Oakland Center for the Arts.
The troupe, founded by Joey Pascarella, uses improv games in its live performances, and many of its members have studied theater at YSU.
Tickets are $10, and proceeds will be donated to the YSU theater department. For reservations or more information, call 330-746-0404.
'Walking Dead' makes live appearance
The creators of "The Walking Dead" are taking the popular AMC series on the road for a tour that comes to Cleveland on Valentine's Day.
Cast members Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steve Yeun (Glen) and Lauren Cohan (Maggie) be joined by executive producer/special effects guru Greg Nicotero for an event that includes a panel discussion, fan Q&A, unaired footage and a look behind the scenes of the top-rated show among viewers ages 18 to 49.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. Feb. 14 event range from $35 to $100 and go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday at the Playhouse Square box office and by calling 216-241-6000.
