Newman and Marcia Levy of Liberty celebrated their 50th anniversary at a party hosted by their children on Thanksgiving Day at the Youngstown Country Club.
The couple's children include Yale and Lauren Levy and their three children, of Bexley, and Jeffrey and Susan Levy and their four children, of Solon.
Mr. Levy was a CPA in private practice for 50 years before he retired last November. Mrs. Levy is a registered dietitian and nutritionist in private practice in Liberty.

The couple were married Nov. 24, 1962, at Congregation Rodef Sholom.
Mr. Levy is a stamp and coin collector. Mrs. Levy enjoys knitting, line dancing, genealogy, and is a volunteer with Grandmas for Education at E.J. Blott Elementary School in Liberty.
