Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Jackson of Vienna celebrated their 65th anniversary on Oct. 25, 2012. On Nov. 10, 2012, they were honored guests at a family gathering at the home of their daughter, Jeanette (Ray) Gollan of Brookfield.
Formerly of Struthers, the couple also have a son, James (Susan) Jackson of Niles, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mrs. Jackson graduated from the Youngstown Hospital Association as a registered nurse and served in the Cadet Nurse Corps in World War II.
