Tackett-Miller

Katherine Marie Tackett and Matthew Case Miller were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Oct. 13, 2012. The Rev. Jean Smith officiated.

The ceremony and reception were held at the B&O Station Banquet Hall in Youngstown.

The bride is the daughter of Rodney and Darlene Tackett of Warren and Alice and Michael Demas of Niles. Parents of the groom are Max and Dot Miller of Barkeyville, Pa., and the late Linda Miller.

Jen Delmonaco attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Calista Coffman, Kris Jackson and Bonnie Sponseller. Amiya Patterson, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

Performing duties of the best man for the groom was his cousin, Ben McNutt. Groomsmen included Mike Miller, brother of the groom; Steve Tackett, brother of the bride; and David Gomola.

The new Mrs. Miller is a 2003 graduate of Champion High School. She received a bachelor of science in graphic design in 2006 from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She is employed at a print shop in downtown Pittsburgh and skates for the Steel City Roller Derby.

Mr. Miller is a 2002 graduate of Grove City High School and received an associate's degree from CCAC in mathematics. He is pursuing a degree from the University of Pittsburgh in computer science.

The couple resides in Pittsburgh and plan to take a honeymoon next year.
