NILES - Charles Cooper Wheatley, 52, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a short illness.
He was born July 7, 1960, in Charleroi, Pa., the son of Melvin C. and Beverly Brooks Wheatley.
He was a self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Picierro Wheatley; a daughter, Krista Wheatley of Boardman; two brothers, Christopher of Niles and Melvin J. of Columbiana; three sisters, Catherine Cline of Youngstown, Jamie Bowman of North Lima and Debra Justus of Warren; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Holloway-Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Service, where friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
