COLUMBUS - Robert George Saxon III, 52, 1344 Hamlin Place, formerly of Warren, died at 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.
He was born Sept. 16, 1960, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Robert G. and Mary Ellen Simmons Saxon Jr.
Mr. Saxon retired from Nibco Corporation as a shipping clerk, and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his wife, Sybil Lee Rodgers; one daughter, Shawntee Saxon of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Gerald of Camden, N.J., and Gregory of Niles; one sister, Tina M. Saxon of Ypsilanti, Mich.; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel, where calling hours are one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
