NEWTON FALLS - Wilbur L. King, 73, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Parma Community General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Youngstown, the son of Wade L. and Annabel Lerner King.
Wilbur graduated from Jackson-Milton High School, served in the U.S. Navy, and faithfully attended and supported the First Community Church of Leavittsburg.
He was last employed at Service Guide as a machinist, and retired from there.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn A. Delinsky King, whom he married June 11, 1960; his children, John David of Columbus, Larry of Gastonia, N.C., Roger of Barberton, Karen (Robert) Fertal of Brunswick and Thomas of North Canton; and two grandchildren, Carolyn of Brunswick and Joshua of Lincolnton, N.C.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy King.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will be held immediately following the calling hours, with Pastor Rodney Winyard officiating.
Wilbur will be laid to rest in Jackson Township Cemetery.
