CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND DANCE SET: The Brookfield Youth Parents are sponsoring a Christmas Wonderland Dance for Brookfield students in kindergarten to fourth grade from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Brookfield K-12 cafeteria. Cost is $5 per child with parents free.

HOUSE SHOWCASES FURS: The Upton House on Mahoning Avenue, Warren, will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The house is decorated for a Victorian Christmas. On display will be vintage furs of all ages and styles as well as a table fair of Christmas dishes. The event is free.

AUXILIARY SELLS TICKETS: There is still time to buy tickets for the Women's Auxiliary at Trumbull Memorial Annual Charity Ball. The theme of the ball this year is "The Peppermint Twist" at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Leo's Ristorante, Howland. The event is a fundraiser for the auxiliary, and the proceeds will go toward medical scholarships. The evening starts with appetizers and dinner, and is followed by a live band and dancing.

The cost is $100 per ticket. Call the gift shop to buy tickets, 330-841-9220.

GLENBEIGH SETS HOLIDAY BANQUET: Glenbeigh's Center of Niles will host the seventh annual Christmas banquet at 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at Ciminero's Banquet Center in Niles. The event includes a dancing, Chinese auction, dinner and speaker.

Tickets are $10 by calling 330-652-6770 by Wednesday.

LIVE NATIVITY AT CHURCH: First Community Church of Leavittsburg, 4640 West Market St., will be performing a drive-through live Nativity from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Free soup, cookies, coffee and hot chocolate will be provided.

PETS TO GET PHOTOGRAPHED: Operation Santa Paw coordinated by Shepherd of the Valley will be part of the pet photos with Santa Claus from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Southern Park Mall. Those bringing a donation for Operation Santa Paws and receive a hand sanitizer.

PETS CAN MUG FOR CAMERA: Pet pictures with Santa Claus will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Brookfield Village Green provided by the Village Green Veterinary Services. Cost is $5 per photo.

TREE LIGHTING AT HOSPITAL: Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley will hold a tree lighting and anniversary celebration at 6 p.m. today at the Beeghly Campus, Building C atrium and Community, 6505 Market St., Boardman There will be a visit from Santa Claus and gifts for all the children. Activities will include face painting, crafts, cookie and ornament decorating. There will be brief remarks at 6 p.m.

CHURCH HELPS FEED RESIDENTS: Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman Canfield Road in Boardman, is taking food donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The church will have a Journey to Bethlehem and live Nativity on from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 15, when people can bring nonperishable food items for admission to the event.
