BAZETTA - The Trumbull Soil Water Conservation District will offer its first Watershed Field School: Senior Edition from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Trumbull Agriculture and Education Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland.

Amy Reeher, watershed coordinator, said the program is for individuals interested in the environment.

Reeher said participants will have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities focused on wildlife and habitats and learn how they are all connected in a watershed. Activities will be designed as a wildlife habitat enhancement project and will be installed at the center, she said adding there will also be materials to take home to enhance the participants' own backyards.

Presenters and instructors will include staff members of TSWCD and the Penn Ohio Watershed Association.

The program is free but registration is required by Dec. 11 at 330-637-2056, Ext. 111 or reehera@embarq mail.com
