ASHTABULA - Carol Ann Wilson, 70, Silvieus Drive, entered into rest with the Lord Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Ashtabula County Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Feb. 17, 1942, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., the daughter of Thomas and Rose Denitto Mariano.
She had been employed with SCM in Ashtabula in accounts payable until her retirement in 1996. She was a lifetime member of the Ashtabula American Legion Dewey Howlett Post 103 Auxiliary. She enjoyed Facebook, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Wilson, whom she married June 13, 1980; two sons, Dennis "Mike" (Paula) Ahlstrom of North Kingsville and Darren (Cindy) Ahlstrom of Cortland; five grandchildren, Erin, Neil and Alanis Ahlstrom and Derrick and Melissa McFarland; four great-grandchildren, Arianna, Rey and Kane McFarland and Liam Kerns all of Ashtabula; three sisters, Marlene Ruppert of Texas, Shirley Stirling of New York and Delores (Frank) Stiller of Washington; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, where there will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Frank Stiller officiating.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.
