YOUNGSTOWN - Lorine Shelton Yancey, 92, 31 Marantha Drive, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Dandridge's Bergundi Manor of natural causes.
She was born April 2, 1920, in Lousia County, Va., the daughter of Robert O. and Mary L. Fleming Shelton.
Mrs. Yancey was a housewife and foster care provider. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Raymond E. Yancey of Youngstown, Roy C. Yancey of Warren, Andrew C. Yancey of Fredericksburg, Va., and Anthony W. Yancey of Youngstown; two daughters, Joi Lei Yancey of Youngstown and Cynthia L. Fuller of Columbus; one sister, Zelma Yancey of Warren; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Early Yancey, five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at New Bethel Baptist Church, where friends may call two hours prior to the service
Burial will be at Mahoning Valley Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Home.
