VOCAL ALLIANCE TO PERFORM HOLIDAY TUNES: The Vocal Alliance Barbershop Quartet will entertain during a free music program at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Howland Library Branch, 9095 E. Market St. Members of a local quartet, The Vocal Alliance, will share songs of the season during this evening performance for the entire family.

The Friends of the Howland Library are co-sponsoring the program and will provide refreshments.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO MEET: The Resident Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the American Red Cross office, 661 Mahoning Ave. N.W.

ASSOCIATION TO HEAR OF SAFETY PROGRAM: The Northwest Neighborhood Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Grace United Methodist Church, 1721 Drexel Ave., Warren, for a program presented by the public safety students at Trumbull Career and Technical Center.

CENTER SETS ROCKET PROGRAM: The OH WOW! Roger and Gloria Jones Children's Center for Science and Technology, 11 W. Federal St., Youngstown, will hold a Make Your Own Rocket program from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for fifth to eighth grades and Wednesday for kindergarten to fourth grades. Cost is $2 for members and $10 for nonmembers. Participants will learn how to make a simple rocket and launch it. For information, call 330-744-5914.
